Believe it or not, in the mid 70s, Jack was considered kinda premier. Or at least, the cliche of good stuff.

Now that I think about it, I might be biased when it comes to JD.
I always drank it from the bottle, often followed by a sip of coke, sitting in some stinking park or underpass.
Not ideal conditions to enjoy a whiskey's subtle nuances.
