I wanted only to just post Eric Johnson, but I kept adding videos. I thought I would stop at five. These are YT videos I could play over and over. The list contains NDW, Japanese (Pysch/Space Rock/Prog etc), Instrumental Rock, post-Punk, & Synthpop. So this is pretty much my top five live concert videos in no particular order.
Palais Schaumburg - Telephon (1981) eX-Girl: "Hettakorii No Ottokotou" If the eX-Girl video sounds distorted it's because I played it too much. j/k :/ Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover (ACL) Wire - 15th (Rockpalast 02/18 ) Tubeway Army - Are "Friends" Electric? I only remember Urban using plug.dj once, he played this song it blew my socks off. Thank you Urban, wherever you are.

One of the best ones that happens to be on YouTube.
I'm so jealous of that goddamn only 20ish person audience. That performance would light a coliseum filled with fans on fire. Your ex and maybe you might not dig this, but this is a great video imo. You can see how much they love the music.

Always wondered how they tracked that opening shot.
Back in the 70s they'd play this at the drive in and the local FM station would sync up the soundtrack. Was such a trip walking around outside and hearing it blaring from like 50 car stereos.

This was an extremely awesome thing to watch when I first found it.
Also I spent a few weeks watching this reunion tour video of Jack off Jill purely on the power of Jessika's performance even tho it was some phone recording at the show. |
