Nice to see some Trail of Dead appreciation. I've enjoyed all of their albums since Worlds Apart (my least favorite in their discography) and So Divided (which I feel is underrated in comparison). Yet as much as I've enjoyed the recent 4, it was harder to pick favorite tracks and really love the albums. I didn't go back to them often so it was hard to pick any for my list. They are good, just less memorable than I would like them to be. And that might fall on me for not listening to them enough times.

Great idea! I sincerely have loved the music of the 00's and 10's more than any other decade so far, so this will be tough. Probably even near impossible, but here goes:

10. Cathedral - The Guessing Game
9. Christian Mistress - Possession
8. Sukekiyo - Immortalis
7. Olga Bell - Krai
6. Mastercastle - Enfer La Biblioteque Nationale
5. Waltari - Below Zero
4. Arkona - Yav
3. Stam1na - SLK
2. Tori Amos - Night of Hunters
1. Dir En Grey - Arche

I had to leave out enough that I could probably make several more equally good top 10's.

ha, Worlds Apart is actually my favorite of theirs. No idea why it gets the hate it does (well no, I guess I do understand it, I just disagree with it). Tao of the Dead might be my second fav tho.
