^ :laughing: Seems pretty clear then; that if you make a pact with the Devil, good grammar will be the first casualty. And conversely I´m sure, anyone who breaks a grammar rule is taking a step down a path that will eventually lead them to Hell.

I think you're actually wrong here, because it's at at the end and 'The Devil' and Gil Scott are separate and not collective. You'd only use 'The Devil and I' if something was to follow on from it, for example: The Devil and I went to the shop. But by itself it doesn't make sense.
