I went to see a local Balkan brass band, the West Philadelphia Orchestra, for New Year's Eve. So whatever they were playing right after midnight was the first song I heard in 2016. Not sure which song it was but it would have sounded something like this (this video was actually shot at the exact same venue I was at, different night though):

since the deaths of both Peter and John....i've made every year start with Coil....the last two have involved watching all of their live videos.....this is quite possibly my favorite live performance of them all....i actually get chills when John says "Blood for the Air"

It just happened to be this one. I didn't pick the song for any special reason, except for that I hadn't heard it in a while and like it a lot, but that isn't something which is especially special.

Thanks for your reply. I‘ve listened to this song for more than 10 times, which reminded me of my former life. When I lived godlessly before, my life was going on just like the lyrics said, "I have lost myself again. Ouch, lost myself and I am nowhere to be found." I felt so painful and hopeless. I often cried out in my heart, "Who can help me? Who can save me?". Fortunately, my colleague preached the gospel to me 6 years ago. From then on, I began to believe in God and led a pleasant and full life. I felt no more hopeless but happy, warm and blissful.
