I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

What about Shoegaze? I've heard it and enjoy it, but what makes it unique?

From what? Post-punk? Probably it's reliance on effects, guitar and production wise. Lots more reverb than any indie rock, post-punk, or alt rock before it's inception.

I think he means from most. Well, shoegaze is a general term for very fuzzy alternative rock with a large emphasis on atmosphere and effect pedals.
