Thanks for mentioning me among the best (and worst) of MB. :) I can't claim diversity on my own. I owe that to all the recs I got from ordinary people to famous musicians. So Thank YOU Frank Zappa http://www.vespastyle.fr/forum/img/s...che_smiley.gif for diversifying me taste by introducing me to the Shaggs. You are so right they are the 3rd greatest band of all time. Yeah thanks Chula, though I doubt many in that list would agree with you that I deserve to be in it. "Diverse? He hates This Heat and Fantomas!" (Trick question: who's talking?)
But I guess once you don't stick to the one genre all the time (as I used to) and are open to branch out even a little, you can be called diverse. See kids? If I can do it, anyone can! :thumb: |
My taste is moderately diverse--still not much hip-hop, but I'm getting into it--but I can't switch from Debussy to Siouxsie and the Banshees in a blink. It needs to be done gradually.

^ I reckon that's more about mood.

Kinda depends.. When music is just background noise for video games and driving I prefer to have one genre playing for a bit and maybe switch after 20-30 mins (MAYBE). When I am actively listening to music like in Plug/Dub, I enjoy switching it up a lot.

Well, I'm normally pretty random. It goes something like this.

Is Katy Perry to Nirvana the most diverse range you could think of OP?
