Will add your albums now.
Totally agree with Wanky. I didn't care for the album at first, just like Jesus and the Mary Chain's Psychocandy, but after another listen or two, when you get past all the distortion, it's totally catchy and fun.

U2 showed the world that effects pedals could make ****ty chart toppers. Loveless showed the world that you could use them to make music that not only doesn't make you want to kill yourself in hopes of finding a reincarnated life where people around you didn't have such godawful taste in music, but is also pretty great.

Tl;dr sans sarcasm, consider the release date of Loveless and how innovative it was in its original context.

Untrue. People can hang coats on me. And I've been known to give the odd right direction once in a while.

My coat now smells like month-old potatoes, so I question your claim.

It's become a bit dated imo. Still a great record, but enough copycats have soured the taste for me.

Loveless? Luckily I haven't listened to enough shoegaze for that to happen.

Or are you talking about TH's coat rack?
