I would buy CDs more often if I lived closer to the record store and had money. Currently I'm limited to getting music from friends, the occasional CD (at least two/three every few months), and free bandcamp downloads. Even barring that my iPod has over 2,500 songs (15 GB) on it. Not doing too shabby I'd say. And then there's my Spotify saved albums, which I reached the 10,000 song limit on last year.
The point is that I prefer CDs (partly because CD can also be burned to digital) over all other formats, but it just isn't always a convenience.
Oh, and coincidentally, the Napster documentary is on VH1 Classic right now. One of my favorites, very informative. I urge you guys to check it out.
