You're reading too much into it. To compare perspectives on digital vs. physical music, we have to ask the same types of questions for both. Neither are meant to implicate anything, we're trying to find out what YOU think. Also, the idea you think illegal downloads and physical album theft are incomparable is something that this survey can show.

And who's "he"? This is a classwide project.

You don't have to take it and I know I'll never be able to convince you of anything once you've made your mind up, I just think you jumped to some silly conclusions.
