Greatest Covers
So I just stumbled upon a cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Robert Glasper and I am blown away. Cue repeat button to the infinite.
I'm just wondering what other covers you guys know of that are out there, particularly ones that cross genres, and reinvent the original to new heights. The vibe is definitely different, no grimy angst or raw edge.. Maybe a bit more cerebral. A reason why it might not be for everybody.. Especially those purists out there. |
