Just a quick reminder before the Yellows start flying: most of you were due to post your album today. Now as it's Monday morning in Ireland and still only Sunday night for most of you that's fine, but if you still want to take part and not lose points, you need to post by Wednesday, which is when the first Yellow Alerts will be issued, penalising you 25% of your score. I know I've neglected this but I have good reason (see my journal) and anyway my next album isn't due until Oct 31.

If unsure what album you need to post, check the OP but at a quick glance Frown, Batty, Nine, Ori and Deadchannel all need to get their collective arses in gear.

There will be no further reminders, as I will be at the hospital all week, so it's up to you guys to sort yourselves out.

Peace out.

Guys, I've let this slip but all albums due to be done before today must now be done by Monday or I'll be hitting yaz with Yellow Alerts. And yes, I realise that includes me going mano a mano with Metal Machine Music!

But too many second chances have been given, so get your **** together or start watching your points disappear. You have till Monday....

Just wait till mine

Hey, also, Trollheart, I can't find that Judds album anywhere. Not even on soulseek. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Edit: also also TH, that Eliane Radigue record is just Trilogie De La Mort under Buttlard's records. Not Last Trilogie De Last Mort. Just fyi.

Lost Shadows - In Defense of the Soul (1978)

**** Frownland for picking an album with this many tracks. I haven't even listened to it, but it annoys me just because I've had to list all twenty-two of its tracks. ****ing pretentious hipster.

1. Tayari-Teri: Shamans Healing, Pt. 1 - 10:57: Barely paying attention since it's Frownland, but random tribal sounding dudes sounding like they have asthma for the first few minutes. No idea whether or not these are real Japanese shamans or whatever, but I assume these are real white people recording them.

Since there's laughing, I'm just going to assume that this is bull****, but one never knows. Maybe the Japs were laughing at the Round Eyes. "Song" is almost over and there has been no music, so I don't know what the **** is up.

2. Tayari-Teri: Shamans Healing, Pt. 2 - 21:02: First "song" completely and utterly pointless. Could have been left off and nobody would have noticed. Just some random muttering in what I assume was Japanese.

Either the people recording this album are on drugs or masturbating, but either way, they're still just muttering. Frownland shows himself to be nothing more than a pretentious hipster yet again.

The **** is the point of this? For thirty minutes all I've heard is a bunch of Japanese dudes muttering and hocking lugees. Dudes need to realize that modern medicine has made them irrelevant. Someone give me an vaccination to boring... whatever this is.

Twenty-five minutes of bull****. Just muttering and lugee hockying. Some baby crying, cause I guess these are real shaman ushering in some ****ty baby into the world, but who gives a ****? Booooooring.

Until something happens then I'm just going to assume that some cracker decided to recorded some aboriginal Japanese doing some aboriginal Japanese things. At least the five guys singing thing had a point. This is just dull.

Shamans should be less boring.

3. Tayari-Teri: Shamans Healing, Pt. 3 - 13:03: God damn, only three songs in. I wish we'd bombed those Jap bastards so I didn't have to listen to this boring bull****.

Like, should I even talk about this until something happens? This is just a bunch of what I assume to be legit Jap shamans chanting while some white dude sticks a microphone in the middle of the proceedings. This isn't even anything. Just dudes saying **** in another language for an half hour.

4. Torokoiwe: Solo Shama, First Chant - 7:13: Holy ****! First different song in forever. Dude sounds like he's retarded. **** non-whites. Gotta go for a smoke. Deuces...

I think I'm going to have to cut this short soon. I have to be at work at 7 am, and it's almost 1 am, and... this is boring. This boring shaman's life has been wasted up till this point. **** him. **** them, but this is just the one chanting, so **** him, but **** all of his cohorts. **** Japanese folk music in general if this is what it sounds like.

5. Torokoiwe: Solo Shama, Second Chant - 5:07: Oh ****, I've accidentally made it this far. I'm finding it hard to type this message since I'm so bored and tired that my typing skills have devolved to pre-typing skills. Seriously, I have to look at my hands as I have I type this just so that my fingers don't **** this all to hell. Halfway through this and I'll be at the beginning of the SECOND DISC OF ****, so I'm maintaining.

6. Torokoiwe: Solo Shama, Second Chant, Pt. 2 - 8:52: Fifteen minutes through this song and I'll be at the beginning in the SECOND DISC OF THIS ****. Or has this song even started. **** if I know.

White people have enough food that they can give some of it to these people who sound like they don't have any... hold on....

God damn it, this **** isn't even done!

**** white people. They know they don't like this bull****.

I gotta get to sleep but there was seriously no point to this bull****. Some dude (probably white) just stuck a mic in front front of some shaman dudes and it was the most boring thing ever.

I'd say more but I'm so tired that I can barely keep my fingers moving. Will finish the second disc to this tomorrow.

You don't have to, that was a very long album. Now go listen to Haus.
