I think I might play Since I Left You out of a small bit of hype for Wildflower. Avalanches has their second full studio album! 16 years! I'm not a big fan, but it's still big for most music buffs. Actually, I need more plunderphonics. I do like vaporwave, anyway.

I think Since I Left You should be the soundtrack to Mario Sunshine. Both are very relfreshing and relaxing, like a day at the beach.

Excited about the recently-announced reissues of highlights from Stockhausen's catalog.

Super excited about this too. One song featuring Toro Y Moi was up and taken down one hour later but heard it before that and it's hugely one of my favorite songs this year.

I've been anticipating Brand New's brand new album since 2009. This is finally the year.

Braver Than We Are, Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf collaborating! I've been a huge Meat Loaf fan for years now. Second favorite musician behind Led Zeppelin. I've been hypoed about this since early last year.

Hey guys!

I just updated the master list in the front since Sidewinder has been busy the last month. I also added a bunch of my own anticipations to the master list which are as follows...

Kayo Dot - Plastic House On Base Of Sky (June 24)
Thee Oh Sees - Live In San Francisco (July 1)
BadBadNotGood - IV (July 8)
Clams Casino - 32 Levels (July 15)
Dinosaur Jr. - Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not (August 5)
Russian Circles - Guidance (August 5)
Wye Oak - Tween (August 5)
Thee Oh Sees - A Weird Exits (August 12)
De La Soul - And The Anonymous Nobody (August 26)
Keaton Henson - Kindly Now (September 16)
Neurosis - Fires Within Fires (September 23)
Jenny Hval - Blood Bitch (September 30)

I'll keep the list updated until Sidewinder gets back so keep adding stuff!

Oh man, Dinosaur Jr. Even their modern stuff is great. One of the best bands to come out of the 80's. If I had to rank alternative bands, I'd say...

QOTSA
U2
Oasis
Radiohead
Dinosaur Jr.
R.E.M.
Pearl Jam
The White Stripes
Weezer
Wilco

I guess these are IMO the best 10 alternative bands. Sure, U2's modern stuff kinda sucks at times, but their early alternative was pretty awesome.
