80's Video Game Style Music Videos
So lately I've been really into 'modern' retro/80's music (esp. synth sounds), but in particular with music videos featuring the 'classic' video game theme.
A friend linked me one on YouTube, titled: Richard Hollingsworth - I'll Be Fine I'd put a link up, but I'm new here and can't do anything yet, haha. You'll have to go onto youtube and search it if you want a look. I think it's a real treat for three and a half minutes. So much going on, and there's a giant chicken among all the other random stuff. I've also seen that Pixels (the Adam Sandler movie) did a music video with Waka Flocka Flame and Good Charlotte. That was alright too, MUCH bigger budget than the one I listed above. Anyone else into this sort of thing? Feel free to link them if you're able and willing |

I only know a bit about chiptune stuff, I love that sort of sound. Guess I'm nostalgic.
I didn't actually know the name of chiptune, so thanks heaps. Will come in handy if my brother ropes me in for making a video game, haha (he's cooking up something as far as I know). I'm not as familiar with (chip?)trackers though. The subject is a bit foreign to me in general as you might guess. Will make for some homework to explore this. |
