Iron Maiden Week!
Thanks to all who supported Supertramp Week, really appreciate it. However, it's clear there were only a small number of people interested. Next week I hope to engage more people as we focus on a band virtually everyone knows or has heard of.
Note: this has been postponed and will now begin Monday, September 7 So, for those who don't know the drill by now, I'll be putting up a list later of the albums, and you can pick whichever one(s) you wish to review. You can, if you like, just transpose a review you've already done in a journal or whatever, but if possible I'd prefer to avoid this and would encourage everyone to try listening to and reviewing an album they haven't already done. This will lead to less of the copy-and-paste thing this could turn into. As I expect to get a better overall response to this, and to avoid disappointment, I'm going to do what we haven't up to now, which is include all the live albums. If the response is lower than expected, then I may at my discretion remove those live albums, but I would hope we'd get enough people to cover at least all the studio ones. You can post from right now to say what album you want to do --- first come first served (or perhaps I should say, first come first severed?) --- but no albums to be reviewed until next Monday, when Iron Maiden Week will officially begin. This week is just for general chat, and to sort out who's doing what album, or what you think you can take on. Reviews can be short or long, use videos or not, but try to put a little thought into them. Rate them, don't rate them, it doesn't matter. The main thing is to join in and have some fun. So.... SCREAM for me, Music Banter!!!

So do you not want Piece of Mind now? I was just joking that everyone would have wanted to do that one. Just confirm so I can update the list.

Yes, I want to switch mine to Brave New World. It'll give me a fresh approach as Piece Of Mind is part of my DNA by now. I haven't sat and listened to an entire Maiden album since Seventh Son. I know... some Iron Maiden fan I am, huh.
