Franco you're the only around here that gets my people. Im sure you're not puertorican but i think we come from a similar culture.

Something by REM, maybe? I've found a number of their songs to be catchy and cheerful, and my mum recalls seeing the video of "Shiny Happy People" on MTV in the early 90s and finding it one of the most cheerful songs of its time (and she was living in a flat with only a black and white TV at the time).
Or some folk rock music? I find this to be warming or thought provoking at times. |
