Was hoping you'd enjoy it more, but I definitely get where you're coming from with the overbearring lyricism. At least you liked the 9th and 10th tracks, those are two of his best tracks imo.

He started rapping in the early 90's, same as Em. Although Wikipedia puts him active a year earlier.

I personally find Cage to be a much more visual lyricist, and while he does definitely use the same over-the-top references and shock value that Eminem does, his sound has a lot more depth beyond just being unpredictable and angry.

He didn't release any full-projects until the 90's though, so it would be hard for Cage to have taken the style from him.
