Hammerhead - Into The Void

I really don't want to write these reviews when I listen to these albums it makes me never want to hear them again. In fact **** it I'm not doing that anymore I'm going all TH and just like writing a line.

Track 1: Shallow (4:16)
Oh woah stop start kind of stuff. Kind of a math rock, noise rock feel. Pretty great opener.

Track 2: The Starline Locomotive (5:29)
Gotta love that gritty bass. Man this is some good stuff kinda wish I hadn't listened at like 2 in the morning. Oh well.

Track 3: Zesta (2:28)
Nice drumming. This is pretty high octane. Didn't like this one as much as the first two, but pretty good.

Track 4: All This Is Your's (3:44)
Good lyrics on this thing, or at least I like this style of writing in lyrics. Pretty catchy melodies too. Great song.

Track 5: Brest (4:18)
Seriously love those sludgy sounding bass tones. The sound of this is almost like a more straight forward Drive Like Jehu.

Track 6: Double Negitive (3:32)
The drumming is frankly a little bit underwhelming, just kinda samey. That really dosent detract to much from the album which I'm enjoying overall. That one was a tad forgettable.

Track 7: Empty Angel (4:43)
This an instrumental? Nope nevermind.
Guitar has some pretty interesting parts in this song. I'm liking this little jam they are going on.

Track 8: Galaxy 66 (4:01)
Damn, that guitar sounds like a siren. The galloping groove really works, it reminds me of the chorus of Continental Shelf. This one's gotta be an instrumental. Not bad.

Track 9: Journey To The Center Of Tetnus 4 (7:10)
Last and longest track. There is this section around 3 minutes that's really cool, but it ends to quickly to go back to the main riff. At least the riff is bitchin'. Oh its back with squeaky guitars. Good ending to a good album.

Final Verdict: Good stuff overall. My only problems were it tended to get a little samey just with the fairly one dimensional dynamics and drumming, and the songs were a tad simple to keep me interested 100% of the time. But the first half of the album and the last few tracks are really ****ing bitchin'.
7.5/10

Uh, I see you forgot to change Gods of War to Hail to England. Don't do that to yourself, man. Even I don't wanna listen to Gods of War. Do Hail to England instead.

A'ight thanks that makes this much easier, and I'm not asking why.

It's all on a single site, so it's not like an accomplishment or anything. I just wanted to make myself sound important.

Manowar - Hail To England

Yes I've heard some Manowar before, and I can say that I am not looking forward to listening to this one whatsoever. At least it seems kinda shortish, so I'm ready let's do this ****.

Track 1: Blood Of My Ememies (4:12)
This actually is starting off different than I expected. Oops nevermind. Man those ****ing lyrics are corn. This feels like a dumbed down Iron Maiden. Cheesy but fun.

Track 2: Each Dawn I Die (4:17)
Man this is some basic bitch drumming. Okay the vocals are getting on my nerves on this one, too over the top to even be fun.

Track 3: Kill With Power (3:56)
I'm glad most of these tracks are pretty short. Why the hell are the hi-hats mixed up farther than everything else it sounds really bad. Did I mention his vocals are annoying? ****ing end this.

Track 4: Hail To England (4:23)
So we're these the rejects from Iron Maiden? They aren't doing their trasitions any favors either. This was fun until it slowed down, now it's just stupid.

Track 5: Army Of The Immortals (4:24)
I should've been keeping count how many times this ****er has been saying battle. Too much. I really dislike the drums on this album. DID HE JUST SAY METAL MAKES US STRONG?!

Track 6: Black Arrows (3:05)
That was corny as ****. Ah **** last.fm acted up didn't scrobble half the album that **** pisses me off. Okay what even is this? A bad solo with a phaser effect? This just sounds bad, and this is coming from a fan of some noise music. Tempted to skip. 30 seconds come on! That was horrible.

Track 7: Bridge Of Death (8:57)
Last track yay. The intro is nice sounding, just picked chords. Oh that synth is just bad. Vocals still annoying as hell. This goes on for 9 minutes? Bored. Bored. Still bored. The drummer sounds like a drummer for like a middle school band. **** your dark lord no one gives a **** about him. I can't even try to like this even ironically anymore, it's not even fun.

Final Verdict: First track and the title tracks were pretty okay, besides that completely boring and pointless. The singer can go **** himself with his magical warrior powers.

Now aren't you glad I steered you away from the 73 minute long album from when they were so far past their prime that Hail to England looks like Powerslave? I could have made you suffer.
