What, in your opinion, is the best opener to any album?
For me, it might have to be Station to Station. 10 minutes of an absolutely incredible track that reaches such a coked-up intensity by the end, and sets the mark for the whole album. Taking up over a quarter of the album's length with the opener is a pretty daring move, but it pays off so well for Bowie here. The other choices would be 21st Century Schizoid Man on In the Court of the Crimson King or maybe Everything in It's Right Place on Kid A. Your picks?
