Glastonbury 2015

It has started already and runs till late Sunday night. Pretty great lineup in my opinion. Post your favourite performances, artists you hope to see and all other types of discussion.

I'm hoping they show RTJ's set in full somewhere.

Didn't even know RTJ were there. Cheers for this.

Haven't watched the footage for them but I bet Young Fathers were incredible. Saw them a few weeks ago in my favourite venue ever and it was sublime. They're seriously great.

I watched clips of Florence and the Machine last night in bed and she sounded woeful, and she was also woeful when I saw her on The Other Stage in... 2010? Loads of people I follow on Twitter etc have been talking about how amazing she was though, so I dunno. Watching a performance on coverage is COMPLETELY different to actually being there, of course, but she genuinely sounded terrible.

I suggested to my Mum that she should check out Young Fathers at a festival she's going to, and today she text me saying they were great from what she saw on TV.

Yeah I only went to their gig the other week cos one of my friends had a ticket going cos she ended up going to Parklife in Manchester instead. I'd listened to one or two songs but definitely wouldn't have called myself a fan as such. But they absolutely blew the roof off, I left completely buzzing, which rarely happens these days even for bands I adore. They'll go far them lads, and they deserve it.

I feel SO gutted that I'm not there. I don't even really care about seeing a single band on the line up to be honest, but most of my friends are there and it's devastating. I didn't even try to get tickets though, I just chose not to go, so I have no one to blame but myself..

You can use hola.org extension for Chrome to get around the proxy restrictions.

Dunno what urged Kanye to cover Bohemian Rhapsody but he's no Freddie, even with auto tune.

Goofle 06-28-2015 01:10 PM

I don't know why he would want to ruin his set playing that crap in the first place.

Yeah I'm not a fan of it either. I mean I see similarities in the excessiveness and maximalism of Queen and Kanye but Rhapsody is just obvious and cheesy.

Justthefacts 06-28-2015 02:17 PM

He didn't even do the whole song, it was just a snippet. I enjoyed it. I really love his stage design, although what if the whole thing fell on him? I'd cry

Goofle 06-29-2015 04:32 PM

Kanye absolutely fucking murdered it.

Young Fathers and RTJ also great from the ones I have seen.

BBC iPlayer - Glastonbury - 2015: Benjamin Booker

Benjamin Booker killing it.

banger 07-02-2015 06:55 AM

thought Kanye was an anti climax. Would rather see a rock n roll band for the main act. He was just alone on the stage. Seemed lifeless

E5I5O 07-06-2015 12:41 AM

I just hope that Máiréad is there

Goofle 07-06-2015 02:57 AM
