Anything you could assume but not prove might be filed in the category of "It was the American Music Industry in The Early 80's". I'm sure that setting back the date was not going to happen, especially after Capitol spent a lot of money already, and not sending a video was possibly going to make matters worse on a professional level as I'm sure it was seriously set in stone.
