You simply don't get it do you? You can say everyone WOULD like it but as I said in one of the posts, if 90 of 100 people heard that they would shrug wtf is that? It should be a song that when it comes on the radio or you play it everyone says oh yeah I know/like that. You're trying to force your square pegs into the round holes of this thread.
Stop it.
Now.

According to you, you loved that Beefheart song. I wouldn't go around posting Frownland or Bill's Corpse in here.

Nah I get it. I think everyone is reading a little too deeply into the op. People telling me to stop only makes me stronger though. Stop it. Now.

And 100 out of 100 people love Ornette Coleman or I will punch them in the face. Fact.

Ftr out of the nine songs that I've posted, I've heard six of them on the radio so yall can suck it.

And yet none of them went on to become hits? That's all we need to know right there.

Played on the radio and became a hit song - most everyone likes it.

Played on the radio but never achieved hit status - not a lot of people like it.

Lonely Woman is one of the most revered jazz standards of all time. Hit.

Talking Heads, you ****ing kidding me? Hit.

Eric Dolphy, see Lonely Woman but replace standard with song. Hit.

Devo, see Talking Heads. Hit.

Pink Floyd, see Talking Heads. Hit. (only heard it on the radio once though, but it's one of their highest held songs)

Moondog, I guess it's not a hit but everybody loves it anyway so suck it.

So by your logic, everybody loves this song right? I mean it's a hit so everybody loves it.

All the other songs are awesome by their own merit, don't knock it till you've tried it.

A lot more people like "Don't Stop Believing" than anything you've posted, so it should qualify more as well. This is about populism, not so much taste. And I have yet to see anybody post anything as beloved as the Fresh Prince theme. So I think I win.
