Red face Pringles drums?

Hey has anyone else seen these pringles drum things on youtube? Do you think they are real drums just wrapped in pringles cans or something?

I don't think you're ready for PVC instruments, then:

She introduced it to the masses.

I don't think the masses needed to be filled in. I'm positive that any kid who lives in a family where one member has drumsticks has nabbed them and walked around the house hitting everything. I got my first pair of sticks when I was 18 or 19 and that was one of my first objectives. Buckets are an obvious choice. Acoustic guitar cases (empty ones, I'm not that destructive) are surprisingly good for it.

Of course. Quaker Oatmeal containers being a fave way back.

Not what I was getting at.

I meant that that video gave bucket drums a kind of legitimacy as a real instrument.

I pretty sure that dude from the video still busks around NYC.

Before then they would just look at a busker or somebody performing John Cage's Construction and scoff, saying "pfffah! That's not a real instrument, you fool!"?

People used to be douchebags. Thank you for what you've done, Mariah Carey.
