Default Riotfest 2015

With all the great talent lined up for Riotfest this year, I've been thinking of buying tickets for the daughter and myself. If I do this, I'll be going all-out with VIP tickets, and they're 300 a pop. I need people to convince me why I should be doing this, because I'm really pushing my monetary limits on concerts this year.

The acts that are pulling the money right out of my wallet are:

Faith No More
Motörhead
Coheed
Rodrigo Y Gabriella
Merle Haggard
Anthrax
Bootsy Collins
Manchester Orch.
Gwar
Living Colour
Death

...as I was writing this and listing out the bands, I just got a call from my daughter, and after some discussion, I have learned that she knows someone who will be working this festival, that also works the Warped tour, and she may be able to get us in for very cheap, if not free. She met this guy when she followed the Warped tour through New Jersey a couple years ago (her H.S. Graduation present put to use there), and she'll be contacting him this week. It's been a long time since I've been to a show this massive, which was Ozzfest 98, and then 99.

Any thoughts from anyone else. Anyone else going?

Death? Without Chuck Schuldiner?

Or is it the the proto-punk Death that's playing?

I'm not sure. I was just shocked that I saw them in the line-up. I got nothing though after some searching. It looks like the (metal) Death hasn't toured in a while, so it just might be the proto-punk one.

I'm sure it's the proto-punk band, since I know they're actually back together and touring. Insane line-up though. Never seen one that massive and diverse.

At first I thought it was an actual band name, but then I saw three more of them on the list. Surprise acts?
