Small announcement: I will shortly be reviewing member albums, and will place the reviews both here and in my Showcase journal. I want to listen to about three more albums each for "Love or Hate" and my Listening List, then I'm gonna concentrate on them. I have, so far, albums from
YorkeDaddy Plankton Mystic anyone else wants to heave one my way just let me know. |

Okay, basically I'm gong to listen to these over Christmas and then hopefully post reviews before New Year's Day, or maybe on it. I'll accept submissions up to Christmas Eve, up to a maximum of ten albums. BUT only ONE per member, so if yours is already in the queue don't hit me with another one (unless you want to change it, which you can, up to the 24th; however bear in mind I may have already listened to it by then, in which case I'll have to stick with the original).
I'll post a list of those to be listened to and colour-code them like the "Love or Hate?" thread, to show which ones I've listened to up to that point. The artiste is welcome to then PM me for my reactions before I post, if they want. (Green just means I've reviewed it. It isn't any indication as to what I thought of it) The list so far: Cheap Guitars by Planktons Odyssey (Plankton) Sonic Architecture by The Architecht (The Mystic) Avulsion by Daydream Society (YorkeDaddy) The Bleeding Sun by The Cartridge Family (Plainview) No Gods, No Music Theory! by General Disregard (Tristan Geoff) Distant Relative of Nihilism by The Artist Formerly Known as Jesus the Carpenter (Frownland) |

The link is in my sig by the way. |
Might as well throw one of mine in. Go ahead and do Distant Relative of Nihilism, as that'll probably be most up your alley.

At the age of ninety-four, Trollheart sits and surveys his vast multiglobal business empire. He's had a good life, he muses. Six wives, three of which were former Miss Worlds, trillions in his bank account, known the world over for his philantrophy, discoverer of some of the biggest bands on the planet and sole architect of the eradication of homelessness and poverty. And yet, one thing still eludes him. "One day" he thinks, shaking his head and putting away Frownland XL: Sounds of my Socks in the Tumble Drier.... |
Working on these now.
Again, does anyone have a link for that Mystic album? |
