This song was released in 1987 and is a part of the album "Akwaba Beach".
Sung by : Guinean singer Mory Kanté.

^ That song was quite surprising to me, IndianClassicalMusic ; I'm more familiar with the songs that Mory Kante did years ago with the Rail Band, like this one:-



Actually, artists like Mory Kante are more usually discussed (if they're discussed at all) in the Country, Folk and World section of MB. That's where you'll find this excellent source of African artists, if you are interested in some other recommendations:-
