Another few to throw out would be:
Eagles - Desperado All of Magma's albums Gong's Radio Gnome Trilogy And while 2112 was mentioned, the two followups that continued the story line weren't: Hemispheres and A Farewell to Kings |

Quote:
"Concept album" requires that the entire album keep in line with the story.

Anythings a concept album if you think about it hard enough.

Yes.
I'm guessing you didn't do well in high school English.

Passage to Bangkok has what to do with the song 2112, Einstein?
Or The Trees with the song Hemispheres?

Enough lateral thinking and it'll happen. Let me look at the lyrics sheet and get back to you.
And Einstein was a scientist, not a literary critic. I wouldn't trust him with the job right off the bat (wouldn't be surprised if he could do it though).

Enough lateral thinking and 4'33 becomes a song. What's your point? Given enough time and leverage, anything can become anything?
I just took a picture of a bear. Look, it's a goat!

2112 is about planets. The Earth is a planet. Bangkok is a city on Earth. Boom I just found a parrallel, bitch. Concept album.
Also your post above this one implies that you're not too sure what lateral thinking is. Get with the brain stuff, grandpa. Before you trot in here and whine about my analysis and bring up something off topic, remember that I never claimed that my rationalization for a concept album would be convincing.
