![]() ![]() Title: Thrust Artiste: Herbie Hancock Genre: Jazz Familiarity: I know of him, have heard a few singles. Who hasn't heard “Rockit”? 1. Palm grease: Very funky, very cool. Nice use of synthesisers near the end. Still, something again I would probably only have on in the background if at all. 2. Actual proof: Great piano and organ work here 3. Butterfly: Sort of an Arabian melody here, but I'm already too bored to care by now. You know me and instrumental albums...Very laidback, very smooth. And very boring. 4. Spank-a-Lee: Yeah, jsut more of the same. Bored ****less now. End result: Bored the arse off me. I can't hack instrumental albums unless they're something that engages me, and this did not. Possibly as background music, but even then it might be pushing it. So, Love or Hate? A solid Meh for this.
