Very buzzy; hard to make out the vox again. Sounds like there might be a nice melody in there somewhere but it's buried under layers of sound. Ah, now it's clearing up halfway through and I can hear better. She seems to have a nice voice. But then the keys or violin or whatever it is blast off again and it all gets too loud and messed up. Sorry, it's getting a Hate because I can't make out much at all. Track 2 This is nice, has a sort of Deacon Blue feel to it, but there are samples cutting in and out of it, which always annoys me and offsets my ear. I can at least make out the vocals this time. Music is still too fragmented and chaotic for my tastes. Track 3(Love) This is slower, more together (at least for now!) and could be my first chance to actually hear a whole song... Okay, this is whole lot better. Right, spoke too soon: someone's strangling a cat. Or playing a guitar badly. One or the other. D'Oh! It doesn't last though luckily. This one's getting close to going Green... and we're there! Track 4(Love) Another great melody to start off, if they'll just all play together and not across one another. Okay, going well so far. Like this. There we go: another one. Track 5(Love) This is really uptempo, sort of growly guitar and I think we're back to those submerged voca --- oh no, I can hear her okay. That actually sounds like an incredibly fast didgeridoo, though I'm sure it's just a synth. Yeah, this is quite good. Track 6(Love) Nice kind of whimsical tune here. But now they've thrown in a big bombastic guitar, sort of ruins it. ![]() Track 7(Love) Yeah, this is really lovely Track 8(Love) Short but quite nice Track 9(Love) This one's nice, even if the singing does go into that sort of phased/echoey/inaudible format for a short while. Track 10 Not mad about this Track 11 Nor this one to be fair. Weak ending. End result: The first few tracks really put me off; it sounded like nobody knew what the other person was playing and it was really confused. Once it settled down it was okay, but I couldn't see myself doing other than just shrugging and saying “Yeah, wasn't bad” at this point. So, Love or Hate? Still and all, have to give it a Love really, which again, I did not consider would be the outcome when I began listening. Chances of a full review: 0/10
