Bolded: Unless it's really ****ty production I don't normally take that into account. I've listened to a lot of 70s albums (obviously) so I'm not expecting it to be crystal clear, but once I can hear it and make it all out I'm happy. Music and lyrics are far more important to me than production.

Anderson (and his band) were at the top of the mountain with total artistic freedom at this point, so we're talking major hippy trippy stuff on this disc.
