Or just forming your opinion based off of what you think as opposed to whether several other people hold it or if what you believe goes against the opinion of the many. There are things that are agreed upon that you, me, or anybody else forming an opinion about music can understand why those things are so loved, and there are also opinions that someone can come up with that aren't too popular but it's an opining person's perspective so who cares?

If you want to do it secretly that's cool but at least be able to back it up and I'll just chalk it up to differing tastes.

I've always heard King's X described as a prog band.

They're listed in the Prog Archives.

RYM calls them a prog band.

Clearly I am a fool for thinking them to be a prog band.

Did you listen to their music and think prog?

I didn't care enough. Just like I don't care enough to listen to five million other artists whose generally agreed upon genre I don't care about. Are you really accusing me of being sheeple, with your hipster facial hair?

Well then me and Chula win because we've heard the music instead of making assumptions based off of what a few people at rym think. Check them out though, Dogman is pretty righteous. Not the biggest fan of Ear Candy tbh.

Unless of course, they are a prog band, and then you're still wrong regardless.

Well listen to them and tell me what you think instead of relying on conjecture.

I would, but I'm busy listening to things other than King's X.

The difference being that I'm not opposed to listening to King's X, I just don't care.
