And:
In Rainbows - Radiohead. Interested to see what you make of that. In fact, maybe swap my album, Soft Heat, out for this? Would rather hear you take on this album to be honest. No worries if that's an issue.

Yeah, that's what he needs to explore. Prog.

Every time I've ever heard the band referenced, it's always been as a prog band. I don't know if they're on the same level of progginess as Yes or Genesis, but I've gotta go with the consensus.

Bandwagon fallacies are fun.
I disagree on Kings X being prog. They say the same thing about Queensrÿche but I really can't hear it.

Title: Frostbite Artiste: Kitty Genre: Hip-hop Familiarity: Zero Track 1(Love) Okay, I'd call the opening of this one a sort of low-key trance, the rap when it comes in is quiet and rather restrained and does not seem angry, unlike so much of the hip-hop I've heard up to now. Also, she can sing and has a lovely voice. And I mean lovely, like angelic. If this is to be a mix of rapping and singing I think I may enjoy this. Spacey keyboards really add to the atmosphere but it's Kitty's low, sultry voice that makes it. If anything she kind of puts me in mind of Kylie, if the sexy little Antipodean rapped. Track 2(Love) A gentle, almost ambient beginning with what can only be described as a soft rap, no aggression or violence in it, none that I can hear anyway. And yes, she sings on this one too. Lovely. Track 3(Love) This one is more uptempo but still really nice, and I don't think there's even a rap in it? Track 4(Love) This just keeps getting better. Track 5(Love) Even the harder trance elements of this can't ruin it for me. End result: When Goofle suggested this and I saw it was hip-hop, my heart sank. I moved it up the pecking order, swapping it out for his original choice (which was, ironically, a change from the previous one) because he was anxious to hear what I thought of it. Well, despite my misgivings I'm very impressed. Different, and in a good way. So, Love or Hate? It's Love, for sure. Chances of a full review: 4/10
