This Heat - Deceit
Eh? Maybe. I think you'll appreciate the harmonies if anything.

Title: #LoveJo Artiste: JoJo Genre: Pop/Soul Love 1. The orchestral intro and her low voice 2. The fact that it's a short album (EP really); just over 15 mins 3. Violin at the end of “Caught up in the rapture” 4. The surprise at how her voice sounds; had I note seen her I would think she was black 5. Her take on Collins' “Take me home”, one of his better songs before he went totally pop. Hate 1. That none of the songs are written, or even co-written by her. I know these are all covers but I checked her albums and they're all pretty much written by other songwriters. I never like that. End result: I really liked this, a pity it wasn't longer. Of course, given that they're all covers I wonder if I would like her original material, and may check it out at some time. Still... So, Love or Hate? This has to be a first for Love! Chances of a full review: 3/10, but only because it's so short and I usually don't do EPs. I may look into her albums though. She's certainly got a better chance of getting the full Trollheart than any of the others so far. Goofle wins this round!

lets not have any fighting in here, but making indirect backhanded statements clearly intended to annoy people is a-ok
sounds good. i'll keep that in mind for the future

Title: Vivid Artiste: Living Colour Genre: Hard rock Love 1. Opening guitar riff on first song 2. The track “Broken hearts”, first one that has really grabbed my attention 3. Their version of the Clash's “Should I stay or should I go”? 4. The sort of Art of Noise vibe to the remix of “What's your favourite colour baby?” Hate 1. That it's pretty generic rock for the most part, little really stands out 2. The raps. Oh god, the raps! End result: Decent rock album but nothing terribly special. Wouldn't see myself listening to it again. So, Love or Hate? On the basis that I didn't hate it, then I guess Love. Chances of a full review: 2/10

Anyway, you'll be happy as your album is up next. I'm gonna try doing it now.

Decent review of Vivid. It was a ground breaker at the time of it's release, and Vernon Reid went on to be one of the premier a vant-garde guitarists of the time, playing with the likes of Bill Frisell. His playing is what really stands out for me.
Looking forward to your Monstrosity review. Go easy on me, as it was my very first attempt at creating an album, and that's all I'm gonna say at this point.
