Do you have a crush on me or something? Cause if this was the schoolyard I feel like I'd be the little girl and you'd be the little boy throwing dirt at my face.

What about NoMeansNo - Wrong. Please listen to the one with the extra tracks, I really like those.

I am the most peripheral member on MB, I'm 90% not here. I don't post much on the boards, and enjoy my stealthy membership. I either plug as much as possible or use the Shout box. I dig the fact that Trollheart contributes a lot, he's what the forum was made for.

Yeah it's a good point. Sometimes I can't resist. It's not cos I'm bored, far from it. I'm deep into reviewing Judas Priest's discography as we speak. And even as I wrote this thread up, a small, urgent voice was saying at the back of my head "Don't do it! You have enough on your plate as it is!" I of course ignored it, as I always do when it tries to spoil my fun. As I said, this came about through Batty poking fun at me in the Metal Album Survivor thread, and I just thought sure why not? Guess at the heart of it all I'm a musical masochist. Or maybe a mascot, whichever is more fun...

I'm insulted: only 90%?

You guys need to read the "Life on Music Banter" thread. It introduces the unwary and the uninitiated to the teeming life that abounds here in the Bantersphere, and also has some cool pictures!

Title: To pimp a butterfly
Artiste: Kendrick Lamar
Genre: Hip-hop

Love:
1. Intro to “Wesley theory”; sort of seventies soul music
2. The sax on “U”
3. Also the emotion on that track; interesting to hear a rapper sound all whiny and upset

Hate:
1. Jazzy piano in “For free” (don't like this track at all)
2. The fact that this album is so ****ing long!
3. That this is so boring
4. Too much repetition: how many ****ing times is he going to be “screaming in the hotel room” and “Conflicted”?
5. A twelve-minute closing track?

End result: I'm not sure whether I hate this more than Mirthkon, but I sure hate it. Don't think hip-hop is ever gonna be for me.

So, Love or Hate? Another Hate for sure.

Chances of a full review: 0/10

I've been waiting for one of these threads so I could throw this at you. I think there's at least a 50% chance you'll love it.
