Yeah. They're decent stoner metal.

Wait, will you still review those regardless if asked? Actually **** it there's no need to lump more than is necessary on you, therefore my rec is

Daydream Society - Daze End

https://daydreamsociety.bandcamp.com/album/daze-end

I was really sad that I released this when you weren't around but you're back and everything's ok <3
Yay! One I'm actually looking forward to. I really enjoyed For Now, and so did Batty if you recall, even if he won't admit it. He reviewed it in his short-lived ripoff of this thread...

There should be a rule against ICP. Actually, there should be a rule against you or anyone reccing albums just to piss me off. Hold on, there should be a rule against you! Wait a minute, this is my thread! No ICP ... ah, **** it.

I never put forth any positive or negative criticism in that review, if you'll ****ing recall.

But I'm the exception.

Daze End is like For Now but more dynamic.

Hey, TH. If you agree to some kind of Torture Chamber feature or something in your journal and do that ICP album then I'll switch it out for this. Either way you're going to listen to Riddle Box though.

The Gathering - How to Measure a Planet?

My journal is no longer setup for that kind of article, having been taken over by the GDP. I actually liked the sound of the above album when you mentioned it in a different thread, but no, I think we'll leave it at your original evil rec. Don't want to be accused of being a wimp (any more than I already am)...

All good. I'm not emotionally invested in you doing The Gathering anyway, but I'll probably rec you one of their songs in your Redux thread.

It may find a home in my new Metal journal, to surface before the weekend...
Also, to be fair, I don't think you're emotionally vested in anything, my friend.

I wouldn't call that album metal at all. More some mix of prog, space rock, trip hop, and the vestiges of when The Gathering were still a metal band. Mandylion was definitely a metal album, but not nearly as interesting, though still pretty sweet. Their album between that and How to Measure a Planet? is supposed to be prog metal though. I'm still new to their discography so I can't point you in any specific directions, but HtMaP is pretty fantastic is all I have to say. Hey, you could put it in your prog journal if it's proggy enough for you.

And don't think I didn't notice your implication that I'm a sociopath. I've written your transgression in my journal and it will not be forgotten.
