I didn't come in to this thread expecting to see a post like this.

YD are you a crybaby though? Blame ol' Frownland for the question.

The only question I have is what kind of drugs were people on when they selected Frownland to be a mod

^They made me mod so that they could buy their drugs from me at a lower price, so I guess the answer is not enough drugs.

But Attahk... Not their best or most representative. Or did you choose it because it's a tad more conventional and also more varied and short?
It's also on Spotify so that's a big plus. I also chose it because it's the least blatantly Kobaïan of their titles and he had just gone on his little tirade. Do you think that Mekanik would be a better rec now that non-English albums are back on the table? That's the other option I was considering.

Hey I questioned his ability to actually be a mod too. He already knows I'll call any bullsh*t if I see it. Not really a threat because what could I actually do other than prove a decision he made was based around BS and not legitimacy? None of that matters anyway.

He's a mod. I accepted it. Not been bad at it so far.

Want to buy some drugs?

I'm really bad at judging whether and how much people are going to enjoy Zeuhl. It's too weird a genre. And TH is being way to unpredictable lately anyway.
I'd probably go all the way and rec MDK, but your choice might be the wiser.

I'll stick to Attahk, since both are about the same levels of alienating (pun intended). Don't let that paint your perspective of the album though, TH.

EDIT: I'm listening to Udu Wudu for the first time (sometimes I get neglectful when it comes to listening to an artist's discography) after you made me question my rec and it's ****ing awesome. I hate when I deprive myself of these things for so long.

No no, I'm sure he'll love it. Just look at your track record so far.

Weighing in: I've no problem using OCD as a descriptor and don't think it tirivilaises the condition. After all, I can say "Isn't yer man mad all the same" without actually implying he is insane (and you Americans use the word to indicate angry anyway) or putting down those who genuinely have mental problems. Just as someone could say "spazz out" and have no intention of insulting actual spastics, if that word is even used any more.

Anyway I think I do have certain OCD traits. Things do have to be done in a certain way. Even when I wash dishes, it's always dinner plates first, then side plates, then cups (big Dalek mug I use to heat up sis's milk always first) then glasses, followed by knives, forks, tablespoons and teaspoons, always in that order.

The moral is: don't get your knickers twisted so much when someone uses a phrase that has passed into common English usage. After all, if I call you a tool am I being disrespectful to spanners? If I call you a spanner, am I intentionally excluding all other handtools? This stuff gets way too PC way too much. It's only a word after all.

And yeah, thanks all for derailing my thread. Last current reviews coming soon.
