Yeah, it's really disgusting when words aren't used only at their most literal and/or clinical.

Ah classic, rather than admit you shouldn't use the term in such an uneducated manner you just act like a dick about it. Noice

I'm educated enough to not always have to care about showing it.
Not to mention, that some of my and TH's character traits could be symptoms of actual OCD, although it's of course very doubtful they really are.
Also nice job calling me a dick, Mr. Pot.

An educated person would say "organized" rather than throw around an actual serious mental disorder

Pretty sure I have nothing to do with whether you were being a dick or not, which you objectively were

The term OCD has been completely colloquialized at this point. Using the connotative definition what Grindy was saying is completely acceptable in today's world.

If you tell me a tear ran down your adorable little cheek when you read my post, I'll feel genuinely sorry, apologize and try not to use the word erroneously on MB any more.

Nah I just care very deeply about increasing mental health awareness and sensitivity to people's problems. A good first step is to get people to stop saying **** like "OCD" and "depressed" when what they actually mean is "organized" or "temporarily sad"

I'm just glad you didn't call me out because you were being your usual dickish, self-important self, but because you actually care about the issue. Even more than the actual sufferers from mental illnesses whom I talked to about this topic and who genuinely don't mind the colloquial use of medical terms, as long as you aren't being outright dismissive and/or insulting.
