I'm not doing it to punish him. I'm doing it because I want to see his thoughts on it.

dat moment when you're on the fence about a member because you knew nothing about them but now you're sure you don't like them

I'm must be getting good at pissing people off, if I can get them to insult me without talking to or even vaguely acknowledging them beforehand in a thread. That, or they're getting extremely sensitive about nothing. Either way, if i'm failing to live up to the kind of standards that a person like you holds, then I guess I must be doing something right.

Quit with the arguing please.

Bwyd Time by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci.

They're very influenced by Kevin Ayers whom I seem to remember you liking, only with a modern twist.

Oh and about half of it is in Welsh

This hits it right on the head. Thank you my friend.

I did, but not ****ing ten hip hop albums. I'm just not going to do that. I do not like hip hop much and as YD says you all seem to be doing this just to make me listen to crap I won't like. I think I said in the OP I didn't want that to happen.

Right then: new rule.
ONE genre/subgenre at a time. If someone recs me a black metal record, then nobody else can suggest that till at least FOUR other members have put their recs in. Otherwise we'll have nothing but ****ing hip hop and this is not what this is about.

So rethink: I've done Kanye West and now I'm not doing any hip hop till the current published list is done. After that, one of you may drop one on me but then I need four other genres/sub genres before anyone else does.

After all, I'm not doing this just to hear stuff I hate. I'm genuinely trying to expand my music tastes and trying to convert me to hip hop while driving me up the wall is just not going to work.

I assume this can be found somewhere other than in the dustiest recesses of your record collection?

So nobody can recommend you two rock records in the sequence of four recommendations? Even though rock can be the difference between The Beatles and Fushitsusha?

Anyway, the hip hop album I rec'd is pretty unique so it might be different enough from what you've heard to not compare it to anything else that you already hate.

Title: Hold your horse is
Artiste: Hella
Genre: Math rock

Love
Nothing

Hate
Not crazy about this guitar instrumental stuff. Bit bored.
I don't believe math rock is for me.

End result: Yeah, pretty much hated this all the way through. Loud and grating and abrasive and with little if any discernible melody. Mostly just like one long guitar wankout solo. With drums. Yawn.

So, Love or Hate? That's gonna be a Hate

Chances of a full review: 0/10
