I believe I would concur with that statement.

Even though you have reviewed some of my recs, I still don't really know what type of music you like... So, I'll just put some random songs I like...
Les Friction - Louder Than Words (Genre: Orchestra Rock) Maximum The Hormone - Koi No Mega Lover (Genre: J-Punk Rock) [Also, just ignore the actual video. All I was able to find are weird AMV's, covers, and video game videos] Linkin Park - War ( Genre: Hardcore Punk)

I'd like to recommend you the whole album (with a different performer), but it'd probably be hard to review as it's all solo marimbas. You only have to listen to the first movement btw (which ends at around 4 minutes).

Where on earth did you get those genre tags? That was like J-pop-punk with some oddly placed, self-consciously silly screamy vocals combined with bargain basement guitar chugging. I would never call that either metalcore or hardcore punk. And I thought Trollheart got his genres mixed up. Was still pretty fun, though.

Got some post-rock/electronic/classical stuff coming your way with this one (it is instrumental, but considering you seem to enjoy classical music I don't think it will be a problem).
