Have you heard Spirit of Eden or Laughing Stock though? if you're expecting 80's synth pop you will be very much surprised. They're two of the most beautiful and emotional albums ever made for my money. And they basically invented Post-Rock.

Yes I've heard both before. I used to have a journal "yorkedaddy listens to albums he used to hate" and I did one of those in there. Still hated it. Might give em another shot tho
