I'm talking about the metal with the extremely illegible logos, brutal lyrics, and often grotesque album covers. It just seems like they're trying too hard to be edgy. Often times I just simply can't make sense of the chaotic sound. Now, I do love metal, hardcore, and punk, but not that kind.
Well, most extreme metal bands use logos like that, no real qualifying genre. Johnny Cash is outlaw country, so I suggest you look more into that side of it.
