Much like other music I consider to be music for partying (DnB, Goa, House etc.) sitting around at home listening to it just isn't fun.

I try to give everything a chance. I haven't heard an honestly good country artist other than Johnny Cash. I also don't bother with gospel music, as it would not relate to me lyrically. I'm sure there are some great gospel musicians out there, but the genre just turns me off with all the religious content. I don't care for opera music, but it is much better seen performed. I also have a hard time getting into the extreme metal music. Not sure what to call the genre, as metal has so many subgenres. I'm talking about the metal with the extremely illegible logos, brutal lyrics, and often grotesque album covers. It just seems like they're trying too hard to be edgy. Often times I just simply can't make sense of the chaotic sound. Now, I do love metal, hardcore, and punk, but not that kind.
