Celebrate the music of your country/city/state
Whether it's an old classic band, a solo artist, an unknown and obscure outfit, a band who have broken up or one on the cusp of greatness. Electronic, acoustic, heavy metal, traditional, punk, hip-hop, anything you like to showcase the music that rules (or sucks) where you come from.
Some Irish acts you may know, and some you may not: The late, great Rory Gallagher His equally brilliant axe buddy from across the border, Gary Moore (RIP) The mighty Aslan Neil Hannon, aka The Divine Comedy The much-missed (here anyway) Winters Reign The Dubliners of course Runaway GO

Here's some New Jersey music that isn't Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra or Bon Jovi. (Okay, it's a celebration of the current and past New Jersey punk scene.)
Spoiler for A lot of videos:

There are so many of my favorite bands that came out of Seattle, i'll do my best to narrow it down to a few videos:
Spoiler for seattle bands:
And of course, you got the obvious ones like Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Soundgarden. Seattle has certainly been a great place for music for many many years. |
