DJCham attended his first concert last year. Don't feel sad.

My first concert was Coheed and Cambria/UnderOATH/3 at Roseland Ballroom in 2004. I was 15. It was okay.

I saw Roy Orbison with The Crickets (as in Buddy Holly) back in the mid-80s with my dad.

I saw three concerts in 1982, when I was 14: The Clash, The Ramones, and Adam Ant. Not sure what order those three were in, but I *think* The Clash show was first. (With some reggae band opening.)

Actually it was Aerosmith before their first album came out at Canobie Lake Park.

1971-ish?

It was luck. Went to the park just to ride the rides and they happened to be playing that day.

Rush. First time I saw them was when I was in HS. I went with my brother and bunch of guys that were in the drum-line for the HS marching band. They were all dying to see Neil Peart - they air-drum through the whole concert. The second time my brother won two free tickets from a radio to see them. To earn the free tickets you had to do a thirty second drum solo, which he did. He was told he came in second, the top prize was back stage passes. So we missed out meeting them backstage . I was in the section where all the other drummers who won free concert tickets, and you tell they were drummers cause they air-drum through the concert as well.

First gig was a local metal band that I got into when I was under age (16 years old at the time). The band was Toe Cutter, pretty good band
