For the record, I'm about a month away from turning 55 and haven't done acid, coke, and speed for over three decades. Me and Lin did do ecstasy once about 17 years ago and had an absolute blast out in the desert. And I only stopped occasionally smoking weed about a year ago. Lin still takes a toke now and then.

But I will not, at all, go out and start using. It's my lifestyle choice, it's the way I chose to live.
That's cool. Just step down off of your judgmental box against those who choose otherwise.

I think talking about it with people that use, will help me do that very thing. Now. Be a good elderly lad, and learn this younger lad a thing or two about other experiences you've had with this stuff.

Everyone share with me. And, no this is not me making a joke. I'm serious.

And yet a joint is out of the question? As far as intensity goes, there isn't much difference between a joint and a few beers. It'll mess with your perception more, but you'll be more in control of yourself.

It's out of the question haha. Call that f*cking nonsensical. But that's where I stand.

Yea, i can tell you weed or almost any drug do help you appreciate music more.
But so does alcohol so if you're not into drugs just drink up.

Well, you do you, but just letting you know you're worried over nothing.

I've already shared my "Yes - Close to the Edge" and "Peter Gabriel - Plays Live" stories. Here's another.

My band had played a really great gig at this club back when Linda and I had only been dating for a few weeks (this would have been when we were both still 19). After the show - about 1:30 in the morning - a dude comes up and congratulates me and hands me a couple of tabs of acid in appreciation.

What the hell, we both drop. To say that it was an amazing night together wouldn't do it justice. I have vivid memories of lying naked on the wet grass intertwined, after we'd probably exhausted about a dozen orgasms between us, and staring up at the universe while crickets played a symphony.
