Default Top 10 Animated Music Videos

I love animation. It can tell stories and express feelings. But it gets better when it is music videos. These are my 10 favorites! It can have live action moments but it should be mostly animated.

10. The Devil Went Down To Georgia (Primus)
The clay animation is so interesting in this video. The song, originally done by Charlie Daniels, is amazing. Primus brings an interesting twist to the song, and the animation helps a lot!

9. Money For Nothing (Dire Straits)
We all know this MTV video. It is a staple for MTV and was revolutionary for its time. I love the live action but the animation even goes into the live action parts.

8. 19-2000 (Gorillaz)
Gorillaz are not higher on the list? Yeah. Honestly, I love the Gorillaz videos, but they usually look the same. To me, this is the video that is the best. Combining humor and the Gorillaz charm.

7. The Trial (Pink Floyd)
This music video is from the movie, "Pink Floyd's The Wall." Gerald Scarfe's work is amazing. I love the imagery and it definitely stands out.

6. King Rat (Modest Mouse)
One of my favorite music videos of all time. King Rat has always stood out, because it was one of the first Modest Mouse videos I saw. It has an environmental message but you really don't care. The animation is beautiful.

5. Take On Me (A-ha)
Another MTV classic. The comic book sketches are amazing. Again, a revolutionary music video.

4. Do I Wanna Know? (Artic Monkeys)
I love the style of this Artic Monkeys song, then the video came out. It has some psychedelic moments, yet the video is simple.

3. Fell In Love With A Girl (White Stripes)
Using stop motion and some computer imagery, the video is amazing. A ton of love went into this music video.

2. Paranoid Android (Radiohead)
The most grotesque video on this list. Changing my very opinion on Radiohead, this song is depressing, but does rock. The music video is not for the faint of heart but is interesting.

1. Do The Evolution (Pearl Jam)
The art in this video is stunning. It is my favorite animated video because it is meaningful and is just amazing to watch.

What are your favorites?

HONORABLE MENTIONS:
Sober (Tool)
Feel Good Inc (Gorillaz)
Sledgehammer (Peter Gabriel)
Heart's A Mess (Gotye)
