Help me match this symbol to an artist
 

Hi, Back in 1993 or so, I was in the Bill Graham outlet store and bought some souvenir bandanas. I put them away until the other day when I was cleaning up and came across them.

One of them features a symbol that could be a stylized "M" or "E" or something else entirely. I've searched google images for "rock symbols" "souvenir bandanas" and a hundred other such things and combinations of things, some relating to other genres, like country and metal.

I can't find it. Can anyone help?
