I have never taken part of these kind of threads, so how does it work? Obviously I have to choose between those two songs (which I will do at another time), but do I just throw my name into the hat for the next round?

No wish to find fault, Trollheart, but actually there´s plenty of county music discussion here - it´s just that for some reason it takes place in the Country, Folk and World forum.

Yeah, you just choose the one you like and when there's a winner the next person gets to post two videos. I usually use a signup sheet, which shows who's next so everyone knows where we are and you don't have three people posting at once and getting things confused.

So I'll pop you as next on the list then.

Yeah I know; it's just generally outside of that nobody really discusses it. If I put this in that subforum we'd have probably a lot of participation but those who don't care for or listen to Country would generally ignore it, and it's they who I'm sort of aiming for. Anyhoo, these sort of threads get more general interest if they're posted here.

That subforum isn't really very active; if it were, I'd spend more time there.

Because this is in danger of slowing down (oh no!) I'm going to introduce (in all these mad "wars" threads of mine) a twenty-four hour grace period during which the next person up can post. If they don't, it moves on to the next one in line and so on. If you're next up, and come back to see you've been gazumped, tough: you'll have to wait for your turn to come back around again. At least that way we have a chance of keeping things moving.
