I see it's my turn. Sorry for dropping the ball, fellows--I had a death in the family recently and haven't had much time for MB. I'll try and dig up something tomorrow.

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that, Pet_Sounds. I hope you are not feeling too distraught.

Actually, I think the delay has been Frownland's, who should've declared the last round closed - unless he alerted you by PM.

Anyway, this post is to mention that, on my computer at any rate, only your "So it goes" option opens up. Is anybody else having trouble?

Thanks for pointing that out, Lisna. Does it display now?

Interesting choices, Pet_Sounds!
I'm going for "And so it goes" as well, mainly because of its beautiful melody, which surely owes something to "Jerusalem".

"Jerusalem" is patriotic hymn that has been popular since 1916, when Sir Hubert Parry put music to the words of a poem that William Blake had written in 1810. The tune sounds very English, and the lyrics are pretty good; difficult to work out their exact intention, but it's somehow about the inspiring countryside and the Industrial Revolution:-

They're both very lightweight and to be honest I don't like either of them, but I can't stand boybands so my vote goes to the other one.

They're not boybands. They're manbands.
