Default Unintentionally creepy songs

You know those songs that give you the creeps, despite their innocent intentions?

Yes, I know this is a Bob Dylan song, but I prefer the Byrds version (although Dylan's is creepier). It's a bit obvious.

The lyric, "big man, walking in the park" always gives me the willies, probably because a big man made a pass at me in a park a few years ago.

Share yours!

I hate the end of Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like an Eagle". The space noises give me the fucking creeps every time.

Why is "All I Really Want to Do" creepy?

"I don't want to… dissect you," for one. I love the song, but find it odd that the singer needs to reassure the girl of all these things.

I don't think the line is literally about anatomical dissection but ok.

I mean I guess it's a pretty gross word.

The funny thing is, I love that song, "All I Really Want to Do" is one of my top ten Byrds songs, and "Hey Bulldog" is my 49th favouite Beatles song (according to my journal countdown). I've just got a thing for creepy songs, I guess.

As if the lyrics weren't disturbing enough already, Jonathan cries at the end.

i know the song is supposed to be a cautionary tale but it's still very creepy.

Enya's 'sail away' is also kinda creepy too. Feels like a call to madness.
